Pod Cast Awards
Pod cast Connect Inc., founded in 2005, are the creators and managers of the People's Choice Pod cast Awards. These awards give all pod casters an equal chance to win a People's Choice Pod casting Award in their specific category.
This award is a non-profit sponsored event. All sponsorship money is utilized for hosting cost, prizes, awards ceremony and any other People Choice Pod cast Awards associated expenses that are incurred, but nearly all of it is spent on the pod cast award winners.
The People's Choice Award event recognizes the best pod casters in the world by allowing the people (Listeners and Pod casters) to nominate, and then vote for their favorite pod cast.
Nomination submissions start in July each year, followed by voting in late to mid July and then the awards and prizes are given at the Awards ceremony that take place during September.
Significant anti-cheating technologies are put in place in the form of tracking, monitoring to insure that it is a fair contest
Additionally, the Pod cast & New Media Expo awards the Pod cast of the Year and Person of the Year awards during its annual exposition. This exposition and its awards encourage individuals and mini-media companies to produce high quality digital content, in creative ways.
