Dave Mordal is a comedian from Elk River, Minnesota. "Mordal" is actually pronounced as rhyming with "portal". He has been doing stand-up comedy for 9 years. He has made several television appearances. He is an Ex-Marine, a heavy equipment operator, and now a stand up comedian.
Dave Mordal has performed everywhere from the acme comedy club in his home state of Minnesota, to Chilkoot Charlie's in Anchorage, Alaska. He has also performed at many prestigious clubs, such as Caroline's Comedy Club, New York, as well as The Improv on Melrose and Improv Las Vegas
He was a contestant on the first and third seasons of NBC's Last Comic Standing. He was fourth eliminated in the first season after losing in a head-to-head competition to Dat Phan, the eventual winner of Last Comic Standing season 1. He was first runner-up in the third season. He also has made guest appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was in the 1999 movie Los Enchiladas as the bread delivery guy. He also stars in Tough Crowd.
